Skateboarding gives us more than fun and action, there is work for many. Nowadays production of equipment is located in China in most cases. A good example for a new kind of job is Maxi Härings job. He is from Munich, 24 years old and started skating 11 years ago. Now he got from DIY projects to work for one of the most famous skatepark building company in the world: PTR

He tells us:
"I started to work with concrete 3 years ago, I built little ramps or illegal projects like the DIY Bowl. I helped to build the course for the ESC in Basel for 3 years where I got to know Schützi of  IOU who got me to Brasil for the Bowl...that was a special experience, I built that bowl with a hammer, a saw and a shovel, without all the tools you usually need.....the bowl was sponsored by Creme and initiated by the Breathe Foundation. I was the Construction Manager, the design was by PTRs Stefan Hauser who then got me to work in Stockholm.........

...I notice how I get better with each project and I receive more and more offers...I will fly to Brasil again in two weeks to build a miniramp in Florianopolis..I will see what happens next year"
