Schmitt Stix Wheels


Wheels aus dem Hause Schmitt Stix, ca. 1990, 63x36 mm, Härteangabe in 53 D.
Goldenes Aluminium Core. Die SS Radials. Diese Rollen waren gigantisch schnell, die Lager passen präzise in die Cores. Paul Schmitt, der Gründer der Firma Schmitt Stix ist der Mann, der dafür verantwortlich ist, dass die Kanten der Decks heutzutage rund sind und Concaves so geformt sind, dass die Füße nicht wehtun (s. sein Interview in der aktuellen Ausgabe des Juice Magazine )
Wheels from Schmitt Stix, ca. 1990, 63x36 mm, hardness reading 53 D, golden aluminium core. The SS Radials. These wheels were very fast, the bearings fit the cores exactly. Paul Schmitt is the founder of Schmitt Stix, he is responsible for the fact that the edges of your decks are round today and that concaves are shaped in a way that your feet don´t hurt (read his interview in the current issue of Juice Magazine)

    90 A on the Shore A hardness measure ?

  2. I honestly don´t know,. They feel harder than 90A, I would say a 97 or 98A. I have no idea what 53D means.
